John Hayduk (b.1987) is an American artist living and working in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His work is focused in oil painting as well as other mediums. John starts his landscape work en plein air and uses these studies to create studio paintings that focus on the quiet peacefulness of the natural world. He also works figuratively, typically from the live model. John is classically trained in realism having studied at the Academy of Realist Art in Boston, MA, and the Ryder Studio in Santa Fe, NM. At the Ryder Studio John studied under master realist artist Tony Ryder and associate instructors Celeste Ryder, John Reger, and M. Tobias Hall.
