Memento Mori, remember you must die. Typically in art memento mori refers to objects that represent death, decay, or change. This puts an emphasis on the ephemerality of life and that it is always followed by death. In this long term project I am using the human figure as the representation of death and exploring the idea of living with the knowledge of this approaching end.
